Privacy and access to your data
We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected with our bookkeeping software. Our Privacy Policy lets you know what information we may collect from you, how we collect it, how we use it and with whom we share it. Privacy and access to your data is one of the top concerns for anyone using cloud accounting software, and we are happy to answer any questions or alleviate any concerns you may have. Firstly, let us explain our approach to Security of your information.
Granting Access to Others
When you register for a new account we ask you for your email address, and for you to generate a password for your account. Once the account is set up, only you can access your account. You must verify your email address when the system automatically sends you a verification email. For anyone else to be able to see your information, for example your accountant, you have to add them as a user. If they do not have an account already set up, the system will ask them to generate a new password. Our system does not allow you to save your password in your browser for your security.
Who can see your information?
The individuals who you have added as users. Remember it costs you nothing to add additional users.
SSL
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This means when you type something on your keyboard it is encrypted. You will notice that your address bar is green when accessing our server. Click here to see this. We use greater levels of encryption than most banks use.
Passwords.
Passwords that you set up on your account should contain Capitals, lower case, numbers and symbols. They are not saved by your browser.
Sharing Information
We do not share your information with any third parties for Marketing purposes.
