Online Invoicing

One of the key components of our software is the ability to take advantage of online invoicing. It might seem from first glance as something that you don’t need but if used effectively can really improve your sales pipeline.

A sales pipeline is a systematic approach to selling your product or service. There are four mainĀ metrics to keep in mind:

  1. Number of deals in your pipeline.
  2. Average size of a deal in your pipeline.
  3. Average percentage of deals that successfully makes it through the pipeline.
  4. Lead-to-customer conversion ratio.

In many organisations there is usually more than two people who need access to the sales pipeline. The Sales Manager, Managing Director, and Finance head. The Sales team need the ability to generate quotations, while not being able to see other sensitive areas of the Finance numbers. This is possible with eFolio Accounts. Give your sales team what they need; the ability to generate quotations and have them reviewed by a line manager for submission to the prospect.

Once a Sales representative has visited the prospect, and has agreed to send in a quotation, it can be generated in the system. Remember, eFolio Accounts allows you have as many users on an organisation as you like free of charge. Once the quotation is generated it can be checked and approved by the manager. The manager can then email the quotation to the prospect, and if it needs changes it can be done at this point. If its approved, then the quotation is turned into an invoice at the click of a button.

Once the invoice has been paid you can enter the payment into the invoice and the funds automatically appear in your bank account in eFolio Accounts. If the invoice is part paid then the balance will remain, and be clear when you run a Debtors report.
